How much memory
Rust memory use is driven by map size and entity count, not by player slots. A 3000 map for a small group runs on 8 GB. A 4000 to 4500 map with plugins and a few weeks of base building wants 16 GB, and a large modded server with heavy plugin lists is safer on 32 GB.

Install either framework over SFTP and drop plugins into the plugins directory. Updates are yours to run when you want them, because an automatic update on wipe day is rarely welcome.
