Game and app servers
Set up a game or app server
Game and app servers are built for you the moment payment clears. What to do if yours asks for a licence key or another setting first.

You pick what you want to run when you order, not afterwards. So in most cases a game or app server builds itself as soon as the payment clears, and there is nothing for you to do.
The normal case
- You chose your game or application on the order page.
- You paid.
- The server starts building. The card in Services shows Installing.
- A couple of minutes later it is there, and you get a Discord message.
Open it and you land on Overview, with a Server card holding the power buttons and a row of shortcuts to everything else. The address players connect to is on the Addresses card and on the Network tab.
The first thing to do is open the Console and press Start. Watch the output. A game server usually downloads the rest of itself on its first run, so the first start takes longer than the ones after it.
When it asks you for something
Some templates need a value that only you can supply, such as a licence key, a bot token or a server token. When that is the case you get a short form instead, headed with the name of what you ordered, for example FiveM needs a couple of details.
The fields come from the template itself, so the labels and the hints are its own wording. Each one is required. Anything that looks like a secret is masked as you type.
Fill them in and click Build my server. The server is created and you are taken to it.
These values are written straight into your server. We do not keep them in our own records.
If you do not have the value yet, leave the page. The service waits at Setup required and you can come back to it from the banner on the client area Overview, or from the banner on the service itself. Nothing expires.
If there is nothing for you to do
Occasionally the page says Nothing left for you to do. That means your template needs something our engineers set rather than you. The service is queued with them and you get a Discord message the moment it is online.
Finding your way around
Everything else lives behind the tabs. The ones you will use most:
- Console to start, stop and send commands
- Files to edit configuration and upload what you need
- Backups before you change anything risky
- Startup for the settings the game launches with
- Ports for where players connect
- Sharing a server to let other people help run it
What is not here
You cannot change which game a server runs. The template is set when you order and the panel has no way to swap it. Reinstalling lays the same template down again. If you want a different game, email [email protected] before you buy a second service, and we will tell you what is possible.
You cannot edit the launch command. You can change the settings it reads, and you can change the runtime. See Startup settings and Server settings.
