Game and app servers
The activity log
See everything that has happened on your game server and who did it, including commands, file changes, backups and sign ins.
Last reviewed 2026-10-04
The Activity tab records what has happened on the server and who did it. It is the first place to look when something changed and you do not know why.
Reading it
Each line shows what happened, which part of the server it was about, often a detail line with the specifics, and then who and where.
The area is shown as a small coloured chip: Power, Console, Files, SFTP, Backups, Databases, Ports, Schedules, Startup, Server, People or Sign in.
Hover any time to see it in UTC.
What is recorded
Most things you or anyone else does. A sample of the kind of lines you will see:
- Started the server, Stopped the server, Restarted the server, Forced the server to stop
- The server stopped unexpectedly
- Sent a command to the server, with the command itself on the detail line
- Opened a file, Saved a file, Uploaded a file, Created a folder, Deleted several files
- An SFTP connection was refused
- Started a backup, A backup finished, A backup did not finish, Restored the server from a backup
- Created a database, Changed a database password
- Added a port, Changed the port players connect on, Released a port
- Created a schedule, Added a step to a schedule
- Changed a startup setting, with the setting and its new value
- Changed the server runtime
- Reinstalled the server files, Renamed the server
- Invited someone to help manage the server, Changed what someone is allowed to do, Removed someone from the server
Who did it
Three kinds of line.
By a named person. That is you or someone the server is shared with, with the address they did it from.
Ran on its own, with nobody signed in. That is a schedule, or the node itself. There is no person behind those.
From your panel, with no name recorded against it. Something that came through the panel without a signed in person attached.
Where an address was not recorded, the line says so rather than guessing.
Paging
Twenty five lines a page, with Newer and Older at the bottom and the page number between them. There is no date filter and no search on this page.
Who can see it
You, and anyone the server is shared with who was given the Activity: See activity permission. See Sharing a server.
The other log
This log is about one server. Your own account has a separate log at Activity in the client area sidebar, which covers your sign ins, your role changes, your payments and everything we did on your behalf across every service. See What is in the client area.
