Getting started
Ordering a service
Pick a product, plan, billing term and location, review the total, then pay through Stripe. What happens between paying and having a server.

Ordering is three stages: configure it, pay for it, then set it up. Nothing is charged until the Stripe page, and nothing is installed until you say so.
Start at the order page.
Stage one: configure it
Everything is on one page. Work down it.
Choose a product. Nine tiles. Virtual servers, bare metal, game servers, web hosting, bot hosting, managed databases, storage and DDoS protection.
Choose a plan. Each row shows the price for the term you have selected, what it works out to per month, and what the plan includes. Some plans are marked Popular or carry a stock note.
Billing term. Monthly, Quarterly at 5% off, or Annually at 15% off. The whole term is paid up front. You can change term at the next renewal.
Location. Chicago or Frankfurt am Main.
- Chicago is deployed automatically from a prepared image, usually within a minute of payment.
- Frankfurt is built by hand by our engineers after payment, within two hours during European working hours.
Choose your game or application. This step only appears for game servers and bot hosting. Pick what you want to run. You can reinstall with a different template later at no cost.
Operating system. This step only appears for virtual servers, and it is just there to tell you something: you pick the system after payment, not here. The eight systems on offer are listed so you know what is coming.
Name this service. Optional. It shows in your client area and on your invoices. Leave it blank and we use the plan name.
The panel on the right adds up what you have chosen. Click Review order when it looks right. Nothing is charged by that button.
Stage two: pay
The checkout page shows the whole summary again: the plan, the specification, the location, the term, the dates the term covers and when it renews.
Below that is the money. The plan price, the term discount if you chose one, VAT, and Due today.
If you are not signed in yet, you are asked to sign in with Discord first. See Signing in.
Then click Pay. You go to Stripe's own payment page, which is where your card details go. They never reach our servers.
Discount codes go on the Stripe page, not on ours. Look for the promotion code field there.
If you hold account credit, it is not applied to this first payment. Credit goes against renewal invoices. See Account credit.
Stage three: set it up
What happens after payment depends on what you bought.
A virtual server needs you. Nothing is installed yet, on purpose, because you choose the operating system. You land on a page with a Set up my server button. See Set up a new virtual server.
A game or bot server is usually built immediately and needs nothing from you. Occasionally the template you picked needs a setting only you can provide, such as a licence key, and then you get a short form. See Set up a game or app server.
Bare metal, web hosting, managed databases, storage and DDoS protection are built by our engineers. You get a Discord message when yours is online.
Either way, you get a Discord message as soon as the payment is confirmed.
If the payment page does not come back
Some payment methods take a few minutes to settle. The page after checkout updates itself, so you can leave it open, and you can close it safely. Every payment is recorded against your account whether or not you see the confirmation, and you get a Discord message the moment it clears.
If you left the Stripe page without paying, nothing was charged, no card was stored and no server was created. The order is recorded as unpaid and will not renew or reappear on an invoice. Use Back to that configuration to pick it up again.
If a card was declined, a different payment method on the Stripe page usually sorts it. If you meant to pay and something went wrong, tell us through the contact page and we will look at the attempt.
Prices and tax
Prices are in US dollars. VAT is added at checkout according to the rate that applies, and you see the exact amount before anything is charged.
A renewal invoice is issued automatically before each term ends. See Renewals.
